About
LINKIN PARK TO HEADLINE NEW WERCHTER PARKLIFE FESTIVAL IN 2026
Linkin Park fans are counting down the days. On Thursday, July 3, the band will headline the opening night of Rock Werchter 2025. Their return is highly anticipated, and it’s no surprise that one-day tickets for the first festival day sold out in record time. And now, new opportunities arise. Linkin Park is extending its From Zero World Tour. The band will return to Europe in 2026. Back to Werchter as well.
On Sunday, June 28, 2026, they will headline the new one-day festival Werchter Parklife.
Other names on the lineup will be announced later.

Linkin Park emerged as an innovative musical force and are one of the most successful artists of the last twenty years. They first rose to fame in 2000 with Hybrid Theory, still the best-selling debut album of the 21st century. Their follow-up, Meteora (2003), debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. Since then, the band has earned numerous accolades—including two GRAMMY® Awards—and sold over 100 million albums worldwide. They’ve headlined the biggest arenas and festivals across the globe. Beyond their musical legacy, Linkin Park is known for using their platform to support charitable causes and drive positive change. Linkin Park’s eighth studio album, ‘From Zero’, was released in November, featuring the instant classic ‘The Emptiness Machine’ and ‘Heavy is The Crown,’ bringing the signature sound fans know and love. According to Billboard, Linkin Park was the only rock band to surpass 2 billion streams last year.
The Werchter festival family is expanding with a new addition: Werchter Parklife.
The new one-day festival positions itself somewhere between Werchter Boutique and TW Classic and firmly embraces rock and alternative rock. The name Werchter Parklife is not new. It made its debut in the summer of 2021, when the Werchter festival team brought live music back to life with a special concert series, crafted for exceptional times. Starting in 2026, Werchter Parklife will return, bringing the same positive energy, creativity, and sense of togetherness. On a single stage, set in Belgium’s most iconic Festivalpark.
Werchter Parklife 2026 with headliner Linkin Park will take place on Sunday 28 June at the Festivalpark in Werchter.

Which facilities are put in place for visitors with a handicap or reduced mobility?
In collaboration with Inter, Werchter Parklife puts in a great effort to make the festival accessible to the disabled. So we have paid a lot of attention to the accessibility of the festival site and its surroundings:
- There is an alternative, accessible and less crowded entrance for people with a disability. One person is allowed to accompany him/her through this entrance.
- We provide a viewing platform for wheelchair users, people with crutches... with a grandstand view of the performing artists. Specific tickets(Opens in new tab) are required for people using this platform. Read more on that higher on this page.
- Adapted toilets are situated in locations all over the festival site.
- Specific parking spaces are provided. To use the ADD parking, you'll need to purchase a parking ticket in advance. It's no longer possible to pay the amount in cash on the spot. Capacity is limited - please request your reserved parking space in advance through this form(Opens in new tab). Inter will keep you posted on the next steps.
- If you wish to bring a folding chair because of your disability or another health issue, you'll also need a pass to bring this. Please ask Inter for this pass in advance. For safety reasons, it is not allowed to enter the Pit with a wheelchair. (Folding) chairs are also not allowed in this zone.
- Throughout the festival, you can always call on ADD staff for assistance, free of charge. This may include: toilet, moving and eating assistance, etc. Do not hesitate to talk to an ADD assistant, whenever you require assistance. You can find them on the festival site (at the viewing platforms).
- For people with hearing aids, we are once again setting up audio frequency induction loops. By switching your hearing aid to the “T” position, you will enjoy much better sound quality and much less ambient noise. Close to the wheelchair platform, we provide an audio frequency induction loop. For more information, turn to the licensed carers who are offering assistance at the wheelchair stage.
- Pets are not allowed in, except for assistance dogs (either or not in training) for people with a disability.
- We provide a low-sensory room: a quiet, low-stimulus space for people who need a break from sensory overload. This will be provided behind the We Care a Lot booth. Please sign in with the staff if you need to take a moment to unwind. They will assist you further.
Get in touch with Inter on [email protected](Opens in new tab) for additional questions.
